[NEWS] 110827 U-KISS ranks in the Top 3 on Japan’s Oricon Chart with "Brand New Kiss"

Idol group U-KISS have climbed up to 3rd place on the Japanese music chart Oricon with their most recent album. What’s particularly special about this achievement is that their album, ‘Brand New Kiss‘, only contains songs in Korean.
When the album was released on August 24th, it placed 5th on the list. However, after just one day, it managed to climb to 3rd. A representative stated, “We feel like it’s a reward for U-KISS‘s hard efforts in promoting over the past 3 months. We’re planning to be active in Japan for the latter half of this year.”
U-KISS will be returning to Korea on September 8th with a new full-length album. Fans can expect a more masculine concept exceeding that of their past single, “Man Man Ha Ni“.

[NEWS] 110827 Kibum to Restart in Japan

Translation:
Title: Kibum restarting in Japan with name changed to 'Allen'
Originally being active in Korean idol group U-KISS and then withdrawn, it was made known on 26th that Kibum (20) will go solo and restart his solo activity in Japan with name 'Allen'. In October, he will debut as professional actor in a stage play 'Kizuna 2011 Seishun yo Daisho wo Idake!' (Bond 2011 Boys be Ambitious!). Also, in lieu to his debut as a moderator (MC) in a music event earlier in September, he has plans for multiple activities.
"Actor in Japan, singer, MC, composer... and various other things, are what I want to do. I hope to work as an "all-rounded" entertainer" Allen said, with his eyes twinkling.
